Chocolate Covered Malibu Rum Strawberries
Yields: 1 pound of chocolate covered strawberries
Ingredients
- 1 pound strawberries
- 1 750ml bottle of Malibu Caribbean Rum
- 1 package melting chocolate wafers
Instructions
- Rinse strawberries and remove stems.
- Place strawberries in a large jar and pour Malibu Caribbean Rum over the strawberries. Some of the Malibu Caribbean Rum may not fit into the jar.
- Cover jar and leave in the fridge for at least 24hrs. The longer the strawberries stay in the fridge the more alcohol the berries will infuse.
- When strawberries are ready, prepare the melted chocolate wafers according to package.
- Take strawberries out of the Malibu Caribbean Rum and cover them with melted chocolate.
- Harden the chocolate by placing the strawberries in the fridge.
- When the chocolate hardens, enjoy.
